The journey began in 2002 and China has not been easy. It Is a path filled with multiple challenges to be successful, and I had to build my own path right from starting tiffin services to climbing up the ladder by establishing licensed grocery stores and a few restaurants, however it does not end there! Due to covid I am only unfolding new chapters of my life my experimenting something new every single day. The journey has shaped me into the woman I am today. A woman who has been a risk taker, open-minded, and dedicated towards the success of her ventures.
I am Pooja, the founder of Jasshnn Indian Cuisine based in Keqiao, Shaoxing.
Even though I started by doing something so small that I could not scale it all by myself, tiffin services gave me the start I needed, understanding the need of Indian grocery in China, it made me want to open a grocery store which was my very next venture, supplying groceries around China had become a regular activity in my day. Moving on from that I shifted to running my restaurants, however due to covid, we have also added the concept of cloud kitchen, We reached out to clients from around china and made sure they were given cooked meals from our kitchen even in times of hotel quarantine. We made sure even in times of recession, we did not bombard clients with extreme charges and made sure they were nominal, building the largest community even in tough times was the ultimate goal.
